In the marketing world there is a buzz about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, two days post Thanksgiving (this Thursday) in the USA that the population races to start their Christmas shopping. It has the same vibe as the Boxing Day Sales in Australia.
Tempting to just get on the bandwagon I paused to ask if I really wanted to go full pelt into a consumer frenzy of unnecessary purchases when I also value thoughtful shopping that helps makes a positive impact in our world.
