    Product Care

One of the great qualities of wool is that it repels dirt and requires fewer washes, which is easy and great for the environment. So air out your product first when needed.

Hand wash only. Add wool detergent to cold water and let your product soak for about 10 minutes without working it. Rinse with clean, cold water and press the water out. Press the product without twisting or pulling and lay out flat for drying.

Remove pilling. Woollen products will naturally pill with use. Cut away any hand or use a de-pilling machine to remove these pills. Then compress the fibres with an iron on low.

Repair before replacing. Use the strand of yarn on the tag if a product were to snag or tear. This way is simply more sustainable, and if you are yet to learn the skill of mend, reach out to us, a friend or Youtube to learn how.

Meet the Makers

Based in Nepal, Dinadi is a social enterprise bringing lasting change to developing communities and the individual employee's life. Given the high risk of exploitation of women in this region, Dinadi has deliberately sought to empower women, giving them dignified work, living wages, work from home, training, health benefits, and the employees' share in the profits each made that year.
