Freeleaf is based in Asia and provides employment and holistic care to at-risk, exploited and abused women. They have three primary pillars of support: economic empowerment, auxiliary care & emotional support. Economic empowerment is provided through employment, fair wages and fair working conditions. Auxiliary care includes safe shelter at a company dormitory, medical care, counselling, life skills training and professional development. Lastly, support and encouragement is offered to each woman as she overcomes her history of abuse to become strong and sustainable.

Ultimately, Freeleaf’s goal is to help women and communities discover their intrinsic value and give them the tools and confidence they need to stand firm and achieve their dreams.
Their products are all exquisitely hand woven from either jute or cotton, knotted from a single strand to symbolise the potential of the messiness of life being shaped into something extraordinary. Every purchase of their products is helping to create a world where women are "knot for sale."
