Are you ready to add some 'hugge' to your home with the simple beauty of a natural basket? Made from a sustainable fibre, Kaisa, a grass which grows along the riverbanks in Bangladesh, this collection of basket are ethically made in Bangladesh.
When Kaisa dries, it changes colour from natural light green to a pale tan. Our Fair Trade artisans bunch the kaisa strands and coil the strands on top of each other - to make the basket. As the coils are made, they are bound together with natural jute twine.
These baskets come in three size options, the largest which has a lid, medium and small size each perfect for storage, pot plants or for adding texture and natural interest to your decor.
