General tips
Tip 1. Keep all your jewellery out of wet environments. So don't wear in the shower or store in a humid environment.
Tip 2. Dress in your outfit first, then style your jewellery. It will result in a much better look and avoid damage to both your clothing and your jewellery pieces. Remember to reverse the order too when finished with the outfit.
Tip 3. Keep your lotions, make up, hairspray and perfume away from the jewellery, use these before you put on the jewellery.
Tip 4. Household cleaning products should not come in contact with your jewellery.
Gold Plated Jewellery
Tip 1. To clean your gold plated jewellery use mild soap and water. Use a soft cloth to clean the item carefully. After cleaning, rinse with lukewarm water and allow it to dry completely.
Tip 2. Buffing your plated jewellery with a soft cloth like T-shirt material or eye glass cleaning cloths is an effective and inexpensive way to keep your pieces shining brightly.
Note: Do not use a jewellery polishing cloth, as this can damage the finish.
Sterling Silver
Tip 1. Polish sterling silver pieces with a jewellery polishing cloth.
Tip 2. If more attention is needed, immerse in a solution of warm water and mild dishwashing liquid and gently hand wash. A soft toothbrush can also be used fo more abrasive cleaning when needed. Throughly rinse and completely dry the silver before storing, as moisture contributes to tarnishing.
Tip 3. If the jewellery contains gemstones or pearls, do not submerge the entire piece into the water. Instead, use a cotton swab with mild dishwashing liquid to wash only the silver.

Meet the Makers
Eden's jewellery production supports Eden's many programs for the reach, rescue and restoring of exploited women. Each collection has been inspired by one of the women in the program and is custom designed by Australian designer, Keight. They are handcrafted by the Eden team.
The Restoring Justice collection supports the work of an outreach in Myanmar. Weekly the teams visit the red light district to connect with the vulnerable women there to offer rescue and hope.
