A little about Basha’s recycled sari range...

Each one of these is lovingly hand-stitched together in a tradition Bengali craft known as Kantha. Each piece is carefully matched with a special selection of saris and meticulously stitch in even and straight rows making the product unique and a precious handicraft piece. A woman can spend up to 5 days stitching to complete some of the more complex and large designs.

Care for your Kantha blanket

Cotton Kantha blankets can be washed on a gentle cycle and dried on the washing line to keep the piece's colour and texture.

Repurposed luxe blankets are made from factory seconds ornate saris. They are stunning saris, usually worn on a special occasion and can feature luxurious fabrics, hand painted designs and unique local weaves. It is recommended they are dry cleaned.
